Product Overview
Langrui fire pump control equipment (soft start) adopts a one-working-one-standby control mode. When the main pump fails, the standby pump automatically starts to ensure accurate water supply to the fire pipes of the water supply equipment. The water pump can be controlled by buttons inside fire hydrants, flow relays, pressure switches and fire protection systems. It is equipped with a selector switch for operating modes (manual, automatic), signal indication and feedback. It features overload, short-circuit, phase loss protection and comprehensive status display.
Typical Applications: Fire protection, sprinkler systems, central air conditioning, water supply and drainage, etc.
Structural Features and Working Principle
The working principle of Langrui fire pump control equipment (soft start) is as follows: After receiving on-site manual control signals or fire linkage signals from the fire linkage controller, the equipment processes and converts these signals to generate lower-level control signals and transmit them to controlled equipment; meanwhile, it switches on the main circuit to realize the function of starting/stopping the water pump. In addition, the equipment can transmit the operating status information of the water pump to the upper fire linkage control system and send out indication signals for the equipment and water pump, such as power supply signals, manual/automatic status signals of the equipment, water pump status signals, etc., so as to complete information transmission and indication functions.
The fire pump soft start cabinet mainly applies a method where the motor input voltage rises gradually from zero according to a preset function until the startup process ends and full voltage is supplied to the motor, which is defined as soft start. During soft start, the motor starting torque and rotating speed increase gradually. The soft starter is mainly composed of three-phase anti-parallel thyristors connected in series between the power supply and the controlled motor as well as its electronic control circuit. By adjusting the conduction angle of the three-phase anti-parallel thyristors through different methods, the input voltage of the controlled motor can be changed to meet different requirements, thus realizing the soft start function of the motor.
