Product Description

Fire Auto-transformer Control Cabinet

Product Overview

Langrui fire pump control equipment (auto-transformer reduced voltage type) adopts aone-working and one-standby control mode. When the main pump fails, the standby pump will automatically switch on to ensure stable and accurate water supply for fire pipeline systems. The water pump can be controlled by fire hydrant buttons, flow relays, pressure switches and fire linkage systems.
The cabinet is equipped with a working mode selection switch (manual / automatic), as well as signal indication and feedback functions. It provides complete protection including overload protection, short-circuit protection and phase loss protection, with comprehensive real-time status display.

Typical Applications

Fire protection systems, central air conditioning systems, water supply and drainage systems and other scenarios.

Structural Features and Working Principle

After receiving on-site manual control signals or linkage signals from the fire linkage controller, the fire pump auto-transformer reduced-voltage control equipment processes and converts the signals into executable control commands and transmits them to the controlled equipment. Meanwhile, it switches on the main circuit to realize automatic start and stop control of the water pump.
In addition, the equipment can upload real-time operating status to the upper-level fire linkage control system, including power supply status, manual/automatic working mode of the cabinet, and water pump operating status, realizing real-time signal feedback and status indication.
During motor startup, the stator winding is firstly connected in star configuration for reduced-voltage starting. After the motor reaches the rated speed within the preset time, the winding is automatically switched to delta configuration for normal operation.
This starting method effectively reduces the starting current and minimizes impact on the power grid and other electrical equipment in the same distribution network. The starting current is only 1/3 of that of direct delta startup. Specifically, the direct startup current is 6–7 times the rated current, while the auto-transformer reduced-voltage starting current is only 2–2.3 times the rated current. The starting torque is also reduced to 1/3 of the direct delta startup torque. The auto-transformer step-down starting method greatly optimizes grid impact during motor startup.
