Product Overview
Langrui Fire Pump Control Equipment (Star-Delta) adopts a one-operating and one-standby control mode. The standby pump will be automatically started when the main pump fails to ensure accurate water supply of the water supply equipment to fire pipelines. The water pump can be controlled by buttons inside fire hydrants, flow relays, pressure switches and fire protection systems. It is equipped with a switch for selecting manual or automatic working modes, as well as signal indication and feedback functions. It features overload, short-circuit and phase-loss protection, overload protection and complete status display.
Typical Applications: fire protection, sprinkler systems, central air conditioning, water supply and drainage, etc.
Structural Features and Working Principle
The working principle of Langrui Fire Pump Control Equipment (Star-Delta, one-operating and one-standby) is as follows: after receiving on-site manual control signals or fire linkage signals from the fire linkage controller, the equipment processes and converts such signals into lower-level control signals and transmits them to controlled devices; meanwhile, it controls the connection of the main circuit to realize the function of starting/stopping the water pump. In addition, the equipment can transmit the operating status information of the water pump to the upper-level fire linkage control system and send indication signals showing the status of the equipment and water pump, such as power supply signals, manual/automatic operating status signals of the equipment and water pump information, so as to realize information transmission and indication functions.
Starting Performance: When starting the motor, the stator windings of the motor are first connected in star configuration. After reaching a certain rated speed, that is, upon completion of startup, the windings are switched to delta connection for operation within the rated time. Advantages of this product: it can reduce the starting current and mitigate its impact on the power grid and other electrical equipment in the same distribution network. If the starting current of direct-on-line starting is 6 to 7 times the rated current, the starting current for star-delta starting is only 2 to 2.3 times the rated current. The main circuit has simple wiring and convenient maintenance. For water-consuming equipment requiring high head and large flow rate, a two-operating and one-standby configuration is more economical.
