Product Description

Detailed Description: The S11(13)-M.ZT on-load automatic capacity-adjusting and voltage-regulating distribution transformer features two rated capacity levels (high and low). An automatic capacity-adjustment controller detects and assesses the load level; subsequently, an on-load capacity-adjustment and voltage-regulation switch automatically toggles between the two capacities without interrupting the power supply. This enables automatic adjustment of the transformer’s capacity during operation, thereby automatically switching between the two rated capacity operating modes.

Scope of Application for S11(13)-M.ZT On-Load Automatic Capacity-Adjusting Distribution Transformer
This product is suitable for three-phase distribution transformers with a rated frequency of 50Hz, a voltage class of 10kV, and a rated capacity range of 100(30)kVA to 630(200)kVA.

Product Introduction: S11(13)-M.ZT On-Load Automatic Capacity-Adjusting Distribution Transformer
The S11(13)-M.ZT on-load automatic capacity-adjusting and voltage-regulating distribution transformer features two rated capacity levels (high and low). Basic Principles of the S11(13)-MZT On-Load Automatic Capacity-Adjusting Distribution Transformer
For the on-load automatic capacity-adjusting distribution transformer, the three-phase high-voltage windings are connected in a delta configuration and the low-voltage windings in a parallel configuration during high-capacity operation; conversely, during low-capacity operation, the high-voltage windings are connected in a star configuration and the low-voltage windings in a series configuration. The switching between star and delta connections for the high-voltage windings, as well as the switching between series and parallel connections for the low-voltage windings, is performed by an on-load capacity-adjusting switch; the operation of this switch is determined by an automatic controller based on the detected load level.
When the transformer switches from high capacity to low capacity, the number of coil turns increases by a factor of 1.7. This results in a significant reduction in core magnetic flux density and specific losses in the silicon steel sheets, as well as a substantial decrease in no-load losses and no-load current. Consequently, the transformer’s no-load reactive power loss (which, at low capacity, is less than one-tenth of that at high capacity) and active power loss (where no-load loss at low capacity is less than one-third of that at high capacity) are greatly reduced, thereby achieving the goal of energy conservation and loss reduction.
